As the days grow shorter and temperatures drop, your home requires extra care to withstand the challenges of winter. Keeping your insurance details handy is a good precaution.

Fire hazards increase in winter with the use of open fires, candles, and even electric blankets. Install and regularly test smoke detectors, never leave open flames unattended, and ensure fire extinguishers are on hand. Fireguards are essential for open fireplaces, and fireworks should be used far from your home following safety guidelines.
